Wiring diagram for dodge caravan 2005
Hey folks, newbie here, after a bit of help if poss...!
I'm on the hunt for an accurate wiring diagram for the factory install CD player on a Dodge Grand Caravan 2005. The only ones I can find online are on a site called modifiedlife. There are 2 different ones there. Both different and both wrong!
I'm trying to swap out the crappy factory CD player for a Sony CDx gt220.
The factory wiring harness won't fit in the Sony CD player, so I've cut all the old factory cables and am preparing to connect them up with the Sony cables.
A few problems I'm up against...
- the factory CD player has 15 cables and the new Sony wiring harness has only 13 cables
- none of the colours of the cables seem to match up and I can't find an accurate wiring diagram for the factory CD player
- since cutting the cables, the lights on the central column of my dash(for the heating etc) seem to stay on permanently now and have run the battery dead. Any way of stopping this happening again in the meanwhile before I get the new CD player wired up? (looking like it might take a while..!) I don't wanna get a mate round with jump leads, only for the same thing to happen the next day...
Any help would b amazing thanks!
Cheers
Nick
