Open to suggestions, I could velcro some sort of pod type speaker to the dash, or without to much trouble I could cut a hole in the dash and install pretty much any size speaker, 5 1/4, 6 1/2, whatever...

Want something decent, not "extreme", but not cheap either. Any brand.

I have a small Alpine amp that does 80x1 @ 4 ohms to drive it with.

Got any "one only" speakers lying around you want to get rid of?

Well I got a speaker from my stereo supplier, but I don't think it's gonna work, it's to big.

Upon further inspection of the dash above & behind the HU, the HVAC ducting runs around back there, we'd have to cut into it.

So, no big speakers. Now I either build a box for the speaker that sits on the cup holders of the doghouse cover, or I get a pod-type velcro'ed to the dash solution.

I was flippin' through the paper and Soundsaround is selling a home theatre speaker, "Mirage Omnisat Micro". Looked good, although slightly on the tall side. Only $100.

But, it's not a priority, so I'll hum and haw over it for a while. Thanks guys!
