ughh that i cant do it's so much work bringing the old box down to the garage (building) and putting the sub in the box.. lol
i can tell you that i feel like its x10 louder.
im just in debate right now if i should put fiberglass material in the box or not..

I always do, but it's not necessary if the box is large enough. You can always try it and decide if you like it better with or without. I find it smooths out the bass response and there's less resonance with it. You can experiment with the amount as well. i've found that about 1/2 pound/cubic foot works well to just dampen and smooth bass, 1-1.5lbs/cube to make box virtually larger.

So i decided there is no point putting the fiber fill.
And here is a video of the new setup:

ill get the carpet for the box soon, and if you're wondering how is it attached to the floor, i used some scotchmate that attaches it to the floor carpet so its perfect.. no drilling, nothing.. just stickers on the box

Make sure it's secured in there properly, I didn't secure my 2 cube box, braked hard and it came flying out of the trunk, it could have taken my head off. I don't know what scotchmate is, but it sounds like tape or glue and that's not enough. Your link doesn't work.

remove the space between the ? and v
for some reason when i post it it deletes the ?v part
oh and my 2 rear seats are there so the box cant fly inside the car.. I use velcro called scotchmate 3M, its pretty strong, it sticks to the box and then the velcro sticks to the floor carpet so its nice and tight from moving around. unless i take a sharp turn at 100 km/h, this thing aint moving nowhere!

it seems like youve really matured through this post, went from knowing absolutely nothing to making a really nice box, i have an 07 civic ex coupe and i just bought a 12" type r and an mrd-m500 so im basically gonna build the same box you did, thanks for doing all the design work for me! glad to know it will fit
