Put a down payment on the XTX 5000 . Should be paid in full on Friday, will get pics. They clamped it at 1700 @ 10.XV @ 2 ohms. Pretty impressive. I'm going to do 4 ohms for now until I can get 2 odyssey batts and a 200ish amp alt. I found a guy who can build with my stock alt but it'd be maybe 150A. If need be, I'll take out the A/C (it doesn't work anyways) and buy a stock, OEM 105A alt so I'll have 210A. Should be much cheaper.

The shop owner measured the door and found that it'd be best to angle the front, back and top. This means I won't have to build the port in the car, it will be more space, it will sit more level with the back end (won't move around not that it won't be secured somehow), it will be more secure and the port will actually be a bit of a horn style. Shooting for 30 Hz. Still taking the door off. Still 1.5" all around, braced with either 2x4s or rods. It's gonna be real slappy!

Something like this:

all i have to do before i get them to build the box is put the car in my name so i pay full insurance (parents pay half). theyre worried about something happening to it because they're old & whiney n stuff. Yeah, my last stereo got stolen but the alarm didnt go off. i was like 50 feet away, sitting at this computer .

i might even buy everything first and then install because otherwise i'd be paying full insurance (im 24 years old) and that could be wayyyy more. i might as well save myself a bunch of money and get it all done at the same time. will please the rents -_-.

well my car needs an entire new front end, including brakes/calipers/rotors, also need rear calipers/brakes/rotors and i may have to sell the 18's and amp. this happened a week after i quit my job!

trying not to sell the stuff... but dam... too much, one thing after another... my mechanic said one more bump and the front end would have slammed to the ground!

I got the 18's today. They're really beefy. User names beside white sticker. Might have to sell them. I'm selling the amp for sure . Might just build in the trunk with 1 18 ported with a 1k amp. Oh well.
