2 enclosures in 1?

2 enclosures in 1?
So my door panels in my 64 Coupe Deville are about 1/2 way done (I had to fab some from scratch using the old trim and hardware) and I am already thinking about the subs.
I am converting from 2 bench seats to 4 low back buckets so I can build 1 LARGE center console that starts just below the dash and ends between the back seats. I intend on putting 4 10" subs in the console that fire at the floor and the top of the console will be acrylic so you can see the magnets. I am going to try to make it look like a stripper stage complete with brass pole.
Anyway, I thought about a pair of subs in 2 separate compartments. My thinking is to make the compartments different sizes so each pair has different characteristics. 1 pair will be playing very low (30 hz?) with maybe an epicenter or something. The other pair will be a little tighter and punchy. I would use 2 separate amps each having a bass **** up front so I can adjust as necessary. It would seem I could have the best of both worlds.
Thoughts?

As usual Dukk, you have great insight.
I ended up scrapping the kick panel idea. That damn e-brake pedal/lever is going to be a huge pain to modify/relocate and make it look "right" The 1963 Kenwood Cadillac did a descent job, but might be more hassle than its worth.
I have a set of eclipse aluminum cone 3-ways laying around, I'll drop them in the doors and see how much overkill I can do with the center channel. It looks like a close size of a 6x9. With minimal hacking, I think I can sneak (2) 6.5 coax in there.
The doors are looking pretty cool. I'll post some pics soon.
As far as the good feedback I have gotten from you guyz, I will make the (4) 10's equal cuft. I seem to remember long ago Phoenix gold had a "bass cube" or something like that where you could change the "Q" right from the dash. I'll probably go that direction.

Anyway, whatever you do will be top notch. You have great workmanship skills, and better yet, a fantastic imagination.

I'm not sure just how much different your 64 is from my 66 inside but the dash opening in the 66 holds a single 4" or so driver or it can be opened up from below for something like a pair of 4s or a 4x10. Pretty common back in the mono days.
For the KPs, remember that you don't really have to aim a midbass - I was able to mount a 10 flat in each one in the 66. Full use of the ebrake is maintained. For highs I'm using a set of USD A7.0 waveguides - they just fit
