Aight we got a few of those around here, cept they dont get much business so I think they over charge, might try craigslist, The subs are 300 watt rms So Im guessing a roughly 800W@4 ohm, 2 channel amp should do, Or wtvr I can find, just dont wanna over power them and would rather pay for a good quallity low power then a shitty quality high power.
Ill try to go on a scavenge this weekend to see if I can find anything worthy of my room.
ahaha But im on a budget so I will be limited :P

i might be wrong but even the best pc power supply will only supply u with enough current to power a very very small amp and those psus are gonna cost u over 100.00 bux. just buy a plate amp from partsexpress and be done with it. itll probably cost u a little more but it wont be halfassed

I have done a few sub boxes for HT....usually for friends who bought a HTB with a powered sub output. The subs that come with such systems are pretty small....using them in a medium to large room causes a serious drop in the bottom end, which sucks for movies etc.
Since you have lots of space, get the most out of those subs.
I couldn't find the specs for that model number on the Clarion site, if you don't want to experiment with vented boxes, throw the pair in 5 or 6cuft and seal 'em up tight. It will help if you point one driver into the room and one at the floor, elevating the box about 3-4" off the floor with feet. Put separate terminals for each sub on the box.
If you are using an HTB receiver, it will have some kind of subwoofer output, either speaker or RCA level. This output is already crossed over at a point where it will blend with the HP outputs to the other 5 speakers. If you need to, use a LOC to drop the signal down to RCA level and use any old stereo amp to drive your subs....wire them in stereo, use one sub for each channel and set your levels with the volume control on the stereo amp. Running a home amp at 4ohms will put extra stress on it, make sure it has lots of airflow around it and check it for overheating the first few times you use it.
I have built several different units like this over the last few years....some I gave to friends, a pair are still in the garage and I still have a few woofers left over....

.......... :O =P lmao I dunno about it but I just got so lost in those acronyms lmao I will jsut look them up on google. BUt anyways, isnt 6 Ft^3 a lil big for a sealed enclosure or is that needed to hit the lows? Also whata bout runing the subs inseries to get an 8ohm load making it easier on the amp? or what about bridging?? I duno what bridging does with ohm handling =d
