Speaking of looking at something.......

Just wondering.....

Did I say which tuesday?

Sorry - I went out of town for a few days.

How much air space do you have? I spun up two designs:

1) 2cuft sealed, 3cuft vented with (4) 4" x 9.625" vents. Peak is at 52hz and it's a little light on the bottom but it would rock on.

2) 3.5cuft sealed, 3cuft vented with (4) 4" x 15.25" vents. Peak is at 42hz and trades off some of the output of the above for more bottom end. This one has more excursion on the bottom too so I'd keep power to 1000w or less.

In both cases, aeroports are a really good idea.

Remember that bandpass are a different breed of animal and the programs rely heavily that the drivers are very close to spec. In other words - if you build it and it doesn't quite turn out...well that happens sometimes..

And for BRG, check page 3 http://www.sounddomain.com/ride/2230679

Looks good Paul, interesting to read some of the history of the car....

Thanks for the update....you know given your history, a lot of people are expecting big things out of this build up.....

No pressure tho.....

What, that I'm an opinionated loudmouth know-it-all? I'm ok with that

I maintain that this car is for me and fun for me. It is obviously not an SPL machine - the wall is too far back. It may do SQ though Reality is that it will likely see many more classic car shows than Soundoffs.

Oh my!

Just pulling your leg a bit there.....

I would hope it's still fun for you as well....I'd hate to be the only old fart on here that still has a great time doing car audio.....

Looking forward to seeing more pics as the install progresses.....I have a feeling you won't be bringing it east to show it off.....which is too bad....

Thanks man much appriciated. Is this a normal ported box or like an isobaric or bandpass style cause I dont know how to fit the drivers in any other way without losing the trunk.

Those are both sealed bandpass systems. How you want to arrange it is your choice.
