So time has come to cut my truck up. Plan on running powerbass m or l series 15's and an undecided amp as of yet. I have 72+ cubes to play with. Not a burp machine either. Want stupid lows that will also play a variety of music if asked to. Truck is a soon to be bagged 94 chev longbox. Lemme know opinions. Thanks.

Got another car for that man. No worries. Next season though. Working on BIG power for it right now. Got any info on the blow through.

Are you using sealed or ported?

Is this a walled blow through?

Can you fit 4 18's ported?

Have you considered laying down in the bed a bunch of sealed 18's?

The L series comes in D4 (6 = 1.33/series-parallel or .33 ohms/parallel-parallel) while the M series comes in S4 (6 = .67 ohms) & D4.

Sealed:

L series
2.5 cf3 = 44.99 HZ / Q .7686
3 cf3 = 42.22 HZ / Q .7213
3.5 cf3 = 40.13 HZ / Q .6856

M series S4
2.5 cf3 = 43.36 HZ / Q .8475
3 cf3 = 40.59 HZ / Q .7933
3.5 cf3 = 38.49 HZ / Q .7522

M series D4
2.5 cf3 = 38.54 HZ / Q .846
3 cf3 = 36.16 HZ / Q .7938
3.5 cf3 = 34.37 HZ / Q .7544

D4
3 cf3 = 45.6 HZ / Q .7415

1000W RMS
SPL: 89.43 dB SPL: 89.67 dB

I'm not doing a walk through no. I think whatever I do essentially it will end up as a BP.

A local had 4 15s in a below-window blow through, side by side, in a early 90s Chevy 454SS pickup. It looked cool but they lost so much structure in the back of the cab you could push the window in and out

Blow throughs are cool but be careful how much metal you take out.

Or just reinforce on the interior.

Building the inner and outer structures out of 1.5x1.5x1/8 steel. Got that part taken care of just not sure on the box. All firing into the middle through a passage in theory is a 4th BP. 2 ported boxes firing into one passage is a 6th in theory. BTW this is purely a budget build with easily replaceable, cheap drivers.
