Jalat, the panel measurements you PM'd me are much appreciated, and will by very helpful. Thank you for that!

Once again addressing the issue of doubling the thickness of the front panel;
If I increase the depth from 14.25" to 15", (by thickening the front panel to 1.5" and adjusting the other panels accordingly) it won't affect the inner volume, but will lengthen the port by .75".
Am I right in assuming that all this will do is tune the box down a tiny bit?

Just thought I'd wake the zombie to let you guys, especially jalat, know that I got the box built as per the specs you gave, and it POUNDS! Everything is nice and smooth, too.

I'd post pics, but, to be honest, the box looks like ***... lol
It's as yet unpainted (or covered) except I painted the inside of the port red. Was thinking of going black or dark gray for the rest.

Anyways, just wanted to let you guys know that I'm really happy with the results of this thread.

Nice setup...
Would've been way overkill for my needs, though... a single 10" in a ported box keeps me quite happy.

Is that a 10,12, and 15 all together? Or is the picture an optical illusion.

Why? I hope they are in separate chambers... and not playing the same frequencies... Looks killer though.

Haha, Obviously there all in there own chambers, I'm no newbie. Been an installer for over 10 years.I know my .

The two tens Play the same frequencies but the 12 obviously plays at a much lower one. All 3 chambers are sealed and unlike ported boxes there's not that much you can do to change the frequencies.
Why...you ask?
Well because I am a nut when it comes to sound quality. I listen to mostly metal so the 10's are my best friend. Nice and punchy. The 12 inch provides the boom. This set-up gives me the range I crave.
Yes it does look killer, but this box was built for Sound quality not just to look pretty. [IMG][/IMG]
