Backseat Enclosure Design

Okay, so i'm buying two 2ohm 15 Kicker L7's for my Dakota Club Cab... i want to stand these subs up facing the back of my head, i was just wondering whether i should be using a ported box or not? i am going for the loud deep bass so i know thats what to do in a situation like mine but, will it sound good? also not to do with the title of this thread but will two Rockford Fosgate T1500-1bd amps work good for these subs? thank alot

Definetly build a ported box for those subs. As for the amps i say they might be a bit much for daily, but burping/comps they will hold up fine at 1ohm

Thats about right kicker calls for min. 3cu.ft. per sub to max 6cu.ft. per it all depends on if you plan on competing, or just listnening or both.
