I was curious about the port placement...but it all makes sense now...looks great! what were the final specs..volume, tuning, port size etc...? How's the SQ compared to the sealed? As tight, clean, and dynamic?

I'll post a bode plot of the box when I get home.
As for how it sounds; It sounds just like the sealed box I use to have, but better in every way. Its much louder and deeper sounding then before. I was worried about it being 'sloppy' as I listen to alot of metal, but its fine.

Box specs
1.6 Cubes after displacement
35hz

I ran the specs on winisd...curve looks good, port speed is low, and group delay is good. Huge difference in output compared to the sealed set up...+6 db's at 30 hz and +10db's at 40 hz!! To put that in perspective, it's louder than a 12" type r in a spec'd Alpine sealed box from 24-58 hz, and louder than a 15" sealed from 30-46 hz. Not bad for a 10!
