QUOTE]

this nerdy noobie has been building these things
for over 22 years...on the average a box a week
and YES a solid box does sound better than one that
has any flex to it
any pannel on the enclosure that flexes or vibarates
will cost output and it will add unwanted noise to the bass

when you listen to an install with a well built box the bass
is wayyyy stupid...dead quiet between the notes and detailed
all the way down to 10hz

check out the wayy stupid Hexagon Shaped surround
the pic was taken at a way stupid 15HZ

this system hit 149.2DB @ 35hz (with a pair of 12") and would go
cleanly right down to 10hz(everybody said it was wayyy stupid)

and all the respirator does is protect me from Dying from the dust

I wasn't implying you dude, I've been following your work, its just that it seems like overkill for such a sub.. anyways, keep up the good work, and I wish my box was double lined, but unfortunatly, I ran out of wood, so a double baffle had to settle !

Didn't have to lecture me tho..

EDIT:
and on the respirator, I was just saying that cuz I've seen your work, and you probably would of kicked in and said yea I am, but you had to smart remark me again lol...

Just envying you for having one .. thats all !
