Okay, I know I've posted a few times about this box, but I still haven't gotten to building it. I've never built a sub box before, and for some reason I can't quite get my head around designing it.

Is there a site out there with some generic prints I can work with and get to the size I need?

Or better yet, is there somebody with a bit of free time to help me with the design?

I'm sure this should be relatively simple, a downfiring ported box for a single 12.

If there's somebody out there that can help me I'd really appreciate it. I can get all the specs for the sub (an ancient Coustic HT-812 that has served me well for at least 10 years!)

 

any reason why you want it to downfire?

is it going in a truck as a center console type enclosure?

 

No, it's going in a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited...the 4 door, and I've got the soft top on, so I'd like it downfiring and carpeted black to match the rest of the interior so it's not screaming "Steal me!" quite as loud.
