Just got a dumbass question about ported enclosures. If I am going off plans that read 1.5cuft with a 2-4" ports 13" long (this is just for reference, don't even know where that would tune to be) would that mean total airspace including the port should be 1.5cuft or that I'd need 1.5cuft PLUS room for the port. thanks alot in advance for any help guys

 

It depends as some plans will give you the gross number and some the net figure.

More often than not though if you're reading a suggested enclosure size from a retailer the enclosure size will be a net figure as in 1.5net plus port and speaker displacement.
