Builing My First Enclosure

Builing My First Enclosure
Hello,
I will be building a ported enclosure for my RE SE15. (http://reaudio.com/specs.html#sp_se)
I would like the sub to face the back of the car, but the port to face upwards (into a whole where my stock sub used to be).
As per manufacture specs, it should be 4 cu. ft. and tuned to 34Hz.
I'm kind of lost when it comes to the whole port diameter/length thing. Can my port either be rectangular or cylindrical?
I was hoping to get some design ideas.
Thanks!

Here are some results after using an online calculator:
Height? = 18"
Width? = 20"
Depth? = 25"
Wood Thickness? = 0.75"
Speaker Displacement? = 0.16 Ft³
Port Frequency? = 34 Hz
Port Diameter? = 5"
Number of Ports? = 1
Gross box volume = 3.991 Ft³
Net box volume = 3.9 Ft³
Port Length = 7.985 Inches
Port Area = 19.635 Inches2
Port Volume = 0.091 Ft³
