Hello,

I will be building a ported enclosure for my RE SE15. (http://reaudio.com/specs.html#sp_se)

I would like the sub to face the back of the car, but the port to face upwards (into a whole where my stock sub used to be).

As per manufacture specs, it should be 4 cu. ft. and tuned to 34Hz.

I'm kind of lost when it comes to the whole port diameter/length thing. Can my port either be rectangular or cylindrical?

I was hoping to get some design ideas.

4 cubes is pretty big you know, but just to give you an idea, this box is 2.4 cubes, but the drawing is not quite finished yet, I'm still learning Sketchup.
Oh, tuning is 35Hz.

 

6" aeroport thru rear deck is the only thing i can think of.
give me dimensions and i can sketch something up for you

 

I'm really open to any dimensions, I have the entire trunk to work with. I just wanted the port to face upwards... that's pretty much it.

Gross box volume = 3.991 Ft³

Port Length = 7.985 Inches
Port Area = 19.635 Inches2
Port Volume = 0.091 Ft³
