finished my box.
Well I got 'er all finished. I ended up going 3.4 ^ft. to allow for bracing and sub/port displacement. The port is 4"x13" tuning it to 26-27 Hz.
Holy crap...I've never heard a 20hz test tone so incredibly powerful before. Brought tears to my eyes...quite literally. After listening to the IASCA SQ disc I was very impressed at how well the sub performs for all styles of music.
Thaks Paul and Ross for the help. I believe I'm all turned around on the ported box idea now. To HELL with those confounded sealed boxes...TO HELL with them I say!

To quote a wise man: "Blow your mind - port your box.."
