Finished my ported box. PICS included.

Well I ended up going ahead with my plan to finish up my box for my 13 JLw6s.
Initially he box was just left unfinished.

Pic Before I started.

Starting on the Bondo. HA Ha at that time I was unable to get the box out of my car.

Primer applied.

Box before Clear coat.

A couple of final pictures during test fit before I put back in car.

So Far I am pleased with the outcome. Please comment about things I did wrong etc. So I know for next time.

It's not birch. IT is mdf, what you are seeing is old glue stains from when there was carpet on it. If it was birch I would have just stained.

looks awesome! but if your looking for some critisism....well, its tuned at 36hz not factoring in car resonance, the subs will load to the rear in your trunk and because your esentially making a sort of 6th order bandpass, you should tune the box vents to around 41-42hz otherwise your response will be super low, almost in the useless range.

like i said before though it looks good and im sure its very loud, im just tryin to offer a suggestion to make it a little more efficient.
