Help building box

I just got the pioneer TS-SW1201S4 sub and I've got some questions about the box. The box has a suggested design on it and says the enclosure is .65cubic feet, kinda middle of the suggested range. Does this sound like a good size? Also are screws really needed or are nails and glue fine? The picture on the box has the sub offset to one side of the enclosure and about 10" left on the long side. If the box is 3/4 mdf should I need any braces, doesn't show them on the picture at all? Lastly it's going in a reg cab truck. Does it really matter if the box is in the center or behind one seat or the other? I kinda want to offset it so that I can still put stuff back there.
Thanks.

right now ( dont laugh ) i have a 61/2" sub in the center ( front ) of my van till i get my sub in. and you know what.. the bass sounds alot better when its up front. but when you just want loud put it in the back. and a box that small wont take up much space anyway so you have alot of roon left for tools.. just make sure the box fits at the dimention you have and that the sub wont hit the seat.

Thanks but it has to go behind the seat. I meant if it is in the center of the wall or off to one side. It doesn`t sound like it matters much though.

try it in different spots. its like a home theater. sometimes the bass sounds better in a certain spot. move it around back there and find the sweet spot
