Help with funny sounding sub in box

I would recommend lining the inside walls with 2 layers. Try not to have it touch the driver as it may hamper cooling or impede cone excursion....Also, do not use silicone to mount your sub. The fumes uncured silicone emits can potentially "eat" the surround/suspension of the driver...

^ That was a JL thing to help explain away their shitty surrounds from the mid 90s..
Either buy the sheet batting off the roll as suggested or buy a bag of 'pillow stuffing' which is in the same area. Same stuff, just more like a giant cotton ball instead of a sheet. Use 1pound per cubic foot of space.

so i went and bought some fiberfill....I beleive it was 112" x 90". This is apparently enough for a queen size bed or somethin like that. my box is around .75 cubic ft. How much of this should I be jamming into the box with my sub???
