How does this look?

So I'm building a ported box for my 2 10" X-Ones which will have new Fi recones. I am going to have them seperated, so I'm just designing single boxes basically.

The recommended enclosure size is 1.6-2 cubic feet at 34hz.

This enclosure (below) gives me a net volume of 1.72^3'.

The port is 14" x 3" x 38" and the sub would fire up.

I made a quick model in sketchup, am I on the right track here? Suggestions?

Well I just went and double checked and had to modify the dimensions slightly. After redoing all of the calculations, my new port length appears as though it will end directly in the mid point of the second corner? Is there a way to work with this or must I adjust my port again?

Edit: Actually, I made a mistake, it will end 3" from the wall, and the port width I used is only 2.5. So this is OK?
And clearly the answer to my question is in the topic below this lol.

My updated volume is now right at 2.

Seeing as I don't really have any questions... I'll think of one; will the FI recone effect any of the subwoofer parameters? (It will be dual 4ohm rather than dual 2..)

And it is going in the trunk of my car.
Thanks

It will still act as port through the corner. Do the math to figure it out what it would be if the corner was included and you'll have a good approximaton of the tuning freq.

Looks good. Are you going to radius the port ends?
