Ideal subs for this vol and dimen?

Hey guys,
I'm having a hell of a time finding room in my 09 GMC crew cab.

I currently have an Eclipse 9102D sub and a Type R 12 but there's not enough mounting depth for them so I can't use them.

Here's a box I'm looking at buying. The specs are:

MDF construction (3/4" and 5/8")
Air Space: .83 cu.ft. per chamber sealed
Mounting Depth: 6.5"
Clearance: 1.75" between floor and mounting surface
Finish: Your choice of carpet

Fits: Two 10s or Two 12s up to 6.5" deep
(magnets must be no more than 6.25" in diameter)
Will also fit all 10L5. (10L7 will not fit).
This box can also fit the JL Audio 13TW5-3

What are decent subs that can handle power but with these mounting and depth specs? Thanks.

being most 5/8" with a 3/4" baffle, the box will be the weakest link in that setup. So don't try to run too much power. I've seen many of the underseat MDF boxes split at the joints. With .83 per chamber I'm suggest going with a pair of 10's.. There's tons out there that would work very well.

Good info, thanks. I have no experience with the shallow subs. But coming from DD's, Eclipse etc. I am worried they may not perform.

best bet as always.. get out there..visit a few shops and listen to them...anytimeyour going under the seats and really limiting space, you'll never get the same kind of bass you would with a full size proper box.
