Kick Pods Working For You In The Winter? Slush, Salt, Feet
Before this thread is done for good, I should then ask are kickpods "essential" ... Before door fabrication with multiple set of speakers, are kick pods ideal?
I want to boost the front stage, debating kick pods. I'm not a fan but I see they might be necessary.

They are not essential but they are the easiest way to get the speakers physically closest to the same distance from your head. Even if you plan on using time alignment, it is best to try to get the distances as close as possible first.
Biggs had no effin clue as to what he was doing
Fibreglass kick panels sprayed down with a few good coats of black rocker guard from Crappy Tire are well protected. Rocker guard also gives you that similar texture to most factory plastic pieces. Protecting the speaker itself is a whole other ball game.
Other other thing beyond what Paul said is the absolute joy of NOT having to run speaker wiring into your doors with a well designed and installed set of KPs. Luv that
