need help

hey guys i have a 1993 s10 regular cab with buckets and i have 2 12 inch jl audio w0 that i had in my old truck i want to put them in my s10 and make a box in between the seats. would it be better to have them normal or mounted inverted thanks.

create a type of armrest in between the seats. then mount the woofers so that they 'downfire' into the floor. depending on the space you have, you might be better off using one subwoofer in a ported enclousre

Nice touch.....

OP, you may have to stick with one sub for space reasons, although a box with 2 inverted 12s sticking up between the seats would be different....

ahaha alright guys thanks for the help. a buddy is commin over one day next week to help me we got a couple ideas. gonna draw them all up and take to an audio shop here see what they say. ill post some picks when its done

I don't see a downfire happening. I don't think in an S-10 you can fit a pair of buckets in there with ~13" of space in between. That can be a tough run in a full size truck cab.

So you are left with a rear firing woofer, something more conventional behind the seats, or a sidefiring console with the woofers offset from eachother.
