Need help with L port box dimensions

I'm just wondering how to calculate the dimensions of a box. I have a 12 inch sub needing 1.6 cu ft tuned to 30 hz. I tried using torres, but just can't get it. Also looking for an L port design which i don't think torres has. Anyone have tips on how to get this box built properly?
Thanks in advance.

You're a little too light on detail.

What driver?
What car?
Why 1.6cuft?
Why 30hz?
Why an L shape port?

Try downloading WinISD from LinearTeam. The Rockford Fosgate page has a box wizard on it as well IIRC.

Hey Dukk,
Not sure if you remember, but you were the one who gave me the 1.6 @ 30 hz specs a while back spec'd in WinISD. Now I have the material and tools, i just need the actual cut out dimensions of the wood to cut. Everyone seems to be building L ports, for best sound? Less port chuff? Not sure.

It's an Acura RSX, and just looking for the best ported box for a flat response. Everyone I see is really into torres for accuracy and that it takes driver displacement into the specs, but it's a little complicated for me. I can follow instructions and cut out and build the thing, just not design it. I'm hoping someone can quickly punch the specs into an app, and pop out the dimensions. If it IS that hard, I might have to just get someone to build it for me.
Lemme know!

It's not that hard. Can you make some measurements of your space? Max width, depth, and height in the spot you want the box.

I've never heard of 'torres'

This is the L port calculator i use. It even gives you a cut list towards the bottom.
