Need help with new custom box for my 2 CVR15

My goal is more for a SQ setup. I understand that Kicker subs are not really recommended or used for this purpose but this is what I have to work with and I'm not looking to win any competitions... just enjoy accurate, consistent, clean bass when I listen to trance/dubstep or Heavy Metal with double bass drum... but also still get those low frequencies when I listen to hip-hop/r&b.

My issue prior to seeing what exactly I want to do with the area I have is that the Kicker Owner Manual says for Sealed SQ... to go with a 5.2cu ft box per 15. That is larger than the Vented Box specs (5.0cu ft).... The Compact Sealed says 1.8cu ft, how much does the box size make a difference in SQ? I haven't measured the current box; a friend who is building the new box, guessed each one might be 2cu ft (so maybe they went by the compact specs?)... I am unsure as I had it done professionally and didn't know much about car audio at the time to really be curious about the install. I just knew that it sounded decent enough for what I wanted. The current box is sealed and I've gotten used to how it sounds. I don't want my system to be heard from 2 blocks away or the unwanted attention from cops and thieves that that brings, so ported is out of the question.

Any input is appreciated.

List of my hardware:
2 15in Kicker CVR (2007 model, 4ohms, DVC, 500W RMS)
1 Infinity Reference 1600a (600@2ohms (300W RMS to each sub) (soon to be replaced by 2 DX5001)
Front - 6.5in Alpine SPS-610C w/Separate Tweeter
Rear - 6.5in Alpine SPS-610 2-Way
Head Unit - Sony Xplod CDX-GT32W (Removable Face)

Currently this setup is in my 1991 Nissan 240SX SE Hatchback. The box currently takes up the entire trunk area behind the back seats. Pictured below:

Since my lately RB25DET Neo engine swap, I have removed the rear seats (since like a mustang or any other 2d sports car, the back seat is worthless unless you are friends with midgets) and am wanting to move the sub enclosure from the trunk to where the back seat were. I want to make the box as big as required but at the same time I want to be able to see out my back hatch/quarter windows and have the use of my trunk.

I will have some better pic after I go up to the shop tomorrow and get some measurements and pictures with the old box and seats out of the way. I thought about using the seating area + half the trunk but I really need the rear strut bar that is currently in the way of that idea due to the amount of HP I'm running and how the car is driven.

Forgot to get measurements, but will have them later this week when I go up to the shop to put in the components. Here are some pics of the space that I'm working with though. Another question I had besides whats in the paragraphs above is what direction to fire the subs in.... if someone could like... photoshop a good box design into the last photo... that would be awesome.

Took out the Subs, Box, and Seat.

Took out the rear speaker panels to modify for the 6.5 adapters

Seat Area that I have to work with for custom box. Essentially from where the carpet starts, to the strut towers, to the quarter panels up to the window.
