Please Help With New Sub Box

Hey All

currently i have two 10" (330RMS/1200PEAK) xplods in a bassworx box (dual/ported) powered by a 300RMS/1100PEAK Kenwood Mono amp.

i now have 6 xplodes (all identical) and two kenwoods (identical)

im looking to build a bandpass/ported box that will hold all of the subs, im just wondering what i should consider when I'm building it, for me the actual construction will be no problem for me its just the design and dimensions.

i listen to mostly Rock, alternative, Metal, Gothic/Emo. like Marilyn Manson, limp bizkit, nonpoint, trapt, senses fails, and some rap (eminem, Jay-z etc). idk what type of box is best for these types of music. oh and i drive an SUV so space is not an issue

i am looking for crisp, fast and loud bass. if that makes any sense lol!

any -constructive- input would be great

thanks in advance, Andy

I would not recommend mixing subs in an enclosure or install, if you want to go with the 2 kenwoods or the 5 xplods then you will have something to start with.

sorry, i should have specified this, all 6 subs(sony) are exactly the same and the amps(kenwood) are the same, i will not be using anything from old setup and all six will be in the one box (each with seperate "chamber" if will)

if it was me, I'd probably stick with sealed enclosures with about 1.25-1.5 cubic feet for each box. with that many subs there will be plenty of air movement to make it loud, and should be super clean.
I would think about slightly bigger amps to power them a little more efficiently if budget allows.
