Post Ports

Just a quick question about porting boxes. Am I to assume that if I have 1 driver in a 1.5 cu ft enclosure with a port measuring x by y, and I wanted to add a driver I would build a 3.0 cu ft box and add another x by y port or would my port size (and box size for that matter) change.

Thanks for any help.

You're correct. If adding an identical driver all you need to do is double the airspace and add an identical port.
I would put a divider in the box though in case something happens to one of the subs so you could still have bass while the second sub is repaired.
