spl box design help

hey guys, i just bought a new sub and amp, alpine 12" type r and mrp m500, im going to be using the sub in a 1.25 cube sealed box for daily driving but im looking for someone to help me design a box for competition use, i got all my equipment at the local shop and they are looking to set up a local stereo competition this summer so im going to build a box for one days use, max dimensions are 14 high 28 wide and 16 deep, i dont know how to use winisd very well so if anyone could throw the numbers in there for me? the ts specs are available on alpines website, let me know if any of you have ever built a ported box for the new type r's??

well, i might get jumped on for saying this, but i dont like the alpine amps at all, i just did a setup like this for a buddy with 2 dual 4ohm type r 10s, with the m1000, andwas pissed that it was going in protect, mind u i was running 1ohm, i ALWAYS overdirve my stuff, and the fact that i could with the alpine pissed me off
aside from that Winisd is easy to use, but u should only use it as a baseline, for any kind of competition u should find someone with a meter, use the winisd to get close and fine tune with a termlab, in the beta winisd doesnt have spes for the R's, just input the QTS, VAS, and FS, that should get u close, than choose ur box size, port preference, and away u go.....its easy

Sorry for the confusion I said I'm running sealed for my daily driver, I'm asking you guys for help building a ported box for competition use, I'm well aware of the differences, that why I said a one note wonder I want something tuned specifically for spl it's a 2007 civic coupe, I can design a slot porter box no problem just wondering if a simple slot port would be enough? I've seen some crazy port designs out there just wondering if anybody has any they would like to share! The max size of the trunk is 28x20x16 but if rather go as small as possible so 28x16highxsmallest possible, let me know what you think?
