I don't think my conviction will be an issue. I haven't been able to track down anyone to give me a definite answer though. What border crossing will we be going through? I could call them and check.

James will not be coming, he has to write a job related entrance exam.

I have rebooked Tim's (blue Benz) room under my name and card. We should have lots of Rooms.

I vote through ST' Louis as well, I hear Chicago can be a nightmare.

Derek you can call the Pembina bordering crossing (go to the US customs website and look up the number) as this is most likely the one we are using south of winnipeg. You don't need to call Canada Customs but US Customs, obviously. I don't think I am going to try and join the group for leaving Winnipeg on the 15th, I have to stay at Grandmas for a night and spend time with her. So I will leave Winnipeg on October 16 and arrive on Friday October 17 at night. I can get a hold of you guys at the Marriot by the sounds of it (I will just ask the front desk). Any idea when we can get together as a group and do something (supper/drinks/pool I dunno - Friday night/Saturday night/Sunday night?) Just so I have an idea when I need to arrive as I don't want to miss that.

 

Maybe the best thing to do would be get everyones cell numbers. That would probably be the best way to make sure you join in the fun. Unfortunately I don't have a cell phone.

I will try and contact the border crossing today or tommorrow.

 

You guys are leaving your cell phones on? I thought the fees would be fairly high for long distance/roaming etc. I am taking my moms cell phone, but just for emergencies and leaving it turned off. I can reach you at the hotel I think. Are most of you guys wearing those Team Canada shirts? I didn't order one so I will have to come up with something else to identify myself at the show.

 

I didn't order a shirt either as I felt it is more fitting for people who are actually competing and not just spectating. I would guess that pretty much all the Canucks will be hanging out after the show ends friday and saturday.

I will be wearing my B-Quiet golf shirt one of the days for sure.
