Is a 2003 Chevy Avalanche considered a full 2 din deck setup or din and one half? A friend and are having a decussion about it.

 

According to Crutchfield, its a din and a half...Not a full double din,

Well I may have found some more info. Appartently they went to double din in 2003. Anyone know if this is true and Scosche has a double din kit part# GM1590B????? Any idea what this does? Thanks maybe not that easy.
