If you're catching some its because you started off on the wrong foot. Only person I have a beef with is prolifik 'cause he thinks that everybody with less than 2000 posts is a worthless nobody on the internet. Great way to encourage new members. I've come to filter out all comments that seem like they're coming from 5th grade, so I'm not taking any of the -talking seriously but some people do, and they aren't going to stick around long with members harassing them like this.

I have nothing against your forum, i'm just pointing out it is not a big forum and just because you have 2000+ posts doesn't mean you know your *** from a hole in the ground -- 2000 posts calling people idiots and saying things can't be done isn't much of a contribution nor is it an indicator of knowledge.

Out of curiosity, how many of you own a shop? (an actual shop with 2+ bays and more than 1 person working in it, aka: not your basement or parents garage).

I know that db thug here doesn't run a shop, with that mentality he probably never finished anything beyond highschool except a bag of cheetos. If somebody walked into your shop and said "I want to hit 160" would you tell him he's retarded and that he can't because he asked? If I have below dealer cost on any equipment I please, you don't think I know some people in the business? Maybe i've been doing this since before you owned a car or even a liscence. You should learn to analyze things before you start shooting off 'your mom' jokes that my 8 year old thinks are immature and that show to everybody just how strong your reasoning skills are.

If you want some members that know how to contribute, maybe you should prove that you have something worth contributing to and not just a bunch of teenagers who think because they have 2000 posts they think they know the industry. I'm all for a canadian community but honestly, is this what you've come to? I'd reconsider slapping the canadian flag over everything on my site with people representing it like this.

As for the MR audio subforum being smaller than this, that is the public-only forum, lol, nobody posts their systems in there 'cause they get stolen -- and this is ONE city.

i think you can do 160 but how much time and $ are you willing to give up

when you get up in #'s it gets harder and harder to get to the next db

if you move your sub box 1/4" you can +/- a db and now how muck time are you testing and you need full power too

If you go back and read the fist page of this thread, Prolifik merely laughed, and said "not even close".

He knows this to be true, because he knows what it takes to get loud.

With your subs tuned lower (better sound) you're going to get less SPL, not more.

Dream on all you want, but you asked for opinions and got 'em....and you were the first to start with the
Now shut up, or say "Thanks".

Oh yeah...I have a shop, and if you come in and ask for 160dB, I'll ask how much ya got

did u not try to make fun of my avatar pic? and u telling me i need reasoning skills? i dont think u have a 8 year old, i think YOU are either 8 years old or u are letting a 8 year old write your replies for you.

u have beef with me? so u write out an essay about it and then call me e-thug? hahahaahahh

btw i didnt say anything about 2000 posts, that was someone else or maybe your wishful thinking.......just like the 160 db u are going to hit.

Maybe i've been doing this since before you owned a car or even a liscence.
yet u are asking how/if its possible to hit a certain number?? maybe u've been doing this since before Jesus was around but apperantly u've been doing it wrong all along if you need to come on a forum and ask a question like that when you have appearantly beein doint this for so long.

If somebody walked into your shop and said "I want to hit 160" would you tell him he's retarded and that he can't because he asked?
does this look like a shop? no, this is a forum dumbass. u asked is it realistic and the answer is NO it is not realistic. did u want anything more from this thread?

go hit that 160 or just shut up, u are doin nothing but makin people laugh. i could go on and on and tear into you but u'd probably come back with an even longer post when u are done crying after reading this.

So MR has a larger audio section than this whole site, eh?

Guess that's why there was a total of 7 posts in the audio section yesterday, and a whopping 3 the day before? Looks like an average of 3-4 posts per day?

If it's so great why didn't you post this question over there?

Have a nice vacation....
