1990 fleetwood prob

1990 caddilac fleetwood (bose system), did an alpine 9823 indash using a soundgate XR4 adapter back in feb.
Now hes back with a buzz/squeal that seems to be coming from the rear mostly. if we disconnect the most noisy rear right speaker it's virtually gone. tried swapping the Xr4 adapter, no luck. the factory amp is listed as being on the rear seat or deck but isnt. anyone familiar with this car and know where the amp is and if the fronts run on a different amp then the rears, or have an idea what may be causing the noise? its there wether on cd or radio. best I can figure is his 14 year old factory amp has bit the dust. frikin bose systems

far as i can remember on the old bose system's
some of the spkrs had cabinets built around them
and the amp was inside that cabinet sorta like a volkswagon.
hope this helps

Sounds like a bad amp: http://www.carstereohelp.com/cadillac.htm
Maybe this helps: http://www.carstereohelp.com/stereor...tRBoseSpkR.htm

Good luck, that site is helpful sometimes, although some of the instructions they want you to pay for.

I am almost certain that the bose amps are on the speakers in the doors.
Have not touched one of those in years.
