1st time post - need some advice
hello, I am a beginner, looking for some pro advice on this
I have a six speaker system with one 10" sub (rockford fosgate P1S410)
I have a JVC deck and a cheap amp (Lepai LP-838, search it on ebay if you need to see the specs) there's also a video demo of it on google video, search "lepai lp-838"...
sorry the forum wont let me post links?
It is a 3-channel amp so it has a sub-out
so here's my question, what is the best configuration?
A) the 6 speakers wired to the deck and the sub wired to the sub-out of the amp... leaving the 2 main channels of the amp empty
B) the 6 speakers wired to the deck and the sub wired by a bridge of the 2 primary channels of the amp (if this is even possible?), leaving the sub-out empty
C) the front 4 speakers wired to the deck, the 2 rear wired to the 2 primary channels of the amp, the sub wired to the sub-out of the amp
I dont think the amp is very powerful and maybe option B, if it is possible, can maximize the potential of the sub, which is actually a name brand... my goal here is to maximize the potential of the sub, i dont mind all 6 speakers going through the deck
thanks to anyone that can provide advice
it's a small car by the way, if that matters
