2010 Mazdaspeed3 Bose upgrade

Hey all.

I have a 2010 mazdaspeed3. It came with the bose 10 speaker stereo. It's not all the great.

I do like that the sub is hidden in the spare tire. It's a new car and I have qualms about ripping off door panels, dashes etc. I like the stock headunit as the car has integrated blutooth, nav, voice control and steering wheel controls that I want to keep.

Is there anything I guy can do to improve whats there? I have in my mind to replace the stock amp? And give whats there a bit more power?

Every factory sysetm iv worked with is a pain in the.... Usualy to upgrade one thing the easyest thing to do is change it all..but umm if you did put a amp you would have to leve the one that is there and get your high level input from after your stock amp the problem with that is the stock amp cuts bass for the sub but it might be to much cut off for your ears to like being played louder..

I was investigating the possibility of upgrading the Bose system in an Infiniti G35. From what I've read the amplifiers may (or may not) have a built in EQ. So if you add an amp, your just making things louder and not improving the SQ of the system. Hopefully someone has dealt with your system in the past. You may want to check out the Mazdaspeed forums and see what some people are doing.

You can get a converter to make the factory deck work with aftermarket amps. The best idea is to change all of the speakers at the same time too.
