Hi, I'm getting my local install shop to do a custom fibreglass box under the back seat in my ram. I have an alpine mrpm1000 which I'm hoping they can fit underneath and behind the rear seat. My question is really about the subs. My installer is reccommending 10" RF Punch3 shallows, but I'm debating using these or JL audio w1s. The JL are about 1" more in depth, but I'm wondering what I'll get better performance out of SPL/SQ between the 2.

 

have you considered looking at the alpine type r shallow mount, 2 would sound great with that amp

 

Yes I've looked at them, but I want to buy locally and visions is selling them for $650 each, which is ridiculous. The other two I mentioned I can grab for $180 each.
