2x JL e1400D or Clarion 1500w RMS

So I have 2 12 JLW6V2 and 1 JL e1400D. I was wondering what yougys think would sound better, another e1400D, or sell that my e1200 and my 2 12Wo(winter system) and get the new clarion 1500W RMS mono

i dont think those subs cant even handle that kinda power. i'd go with whatever is cheaper, if the jl amp is rated at 1400 watts already you wont notice any diff goin to the clarion

the jl amp is rated at 400x1 into 2ohms at 12.5 volts.

the clarion will be a large step up, and the subs are rated for 400 watts each, so you will definitely want to check your gains carefully.

check across the speaker terminals on the amp with a digital multimeter, around 35 volts should give you a fairly safe starting point.

I think the single Clarion amp solution would be best. A little extra power won't hurt them.

yea basically it will cost me the same to sell my old stuf and pick up the clarion, or to just but the e1400...just the clarion is 700W overkill

Not really just watch your volume level. Its always good to have a bit more on tap. Gives you more control, head room and clarity.
