personally i have the jbl 1004 and im happy with is it doesnt use too much voltage/amps it does have the aux out (for expansion) but i honestly think it is too big and light for wut is has and i think there are better amps besides this one...

 

I'm running a JBL GTO 75.4 channels 1+2 run 280rms into my drivers door and 3+4 run 280 rms into my passenger door... Its not the power you should be worried about... its a clipped signal that will do the damage...
