thanks guys went there today and got 2 new 2ohm drivers and new boxes turns out they were used??? wife bought new??? my amp had a dent in it and it turns out it was a demo?? again wife bought new?? they say they are replacing it with a new one we will see questionable business practices

You should have never been handed used/ demo equipment when you were buying new equipment, the "will replace later" crap... is crap. They wanted a sale today... and got it... thus assuring you wont buy from somewhere else today. I buy demo/ used gear , many do since they take a few pennies off the top and you retain the manufacturers guarantee for a perfectly functional product. Mistakes happen and so do suckers. This could be a simple boo boo or a business practice so yeah the wait and see approach works but dont be patient and you should hear the words "I am sorry sir" followed by "our mistake", or "for any inconvenience". When paying retail price at a retail shop (or wholesale) service and quality are expected.

 

Looks like it may be resolved tomarrow owner will meet me half way as it is about an hour and a half from my house. not great but at least i will get what my wife paid for. This whole situation has left my wife and children jaded as this was a 40th birthday present for me. love the system but hate those guys no apology has come from them they just want it resolved. I went there on monday and flipped out!! this now is personal not just BUSINESS. I wish she had gone elsewhere but a friend of her's recomended these guys. When they gave me the present they were proud of what they had done and thought these guys were great, and I would not have known except i pulled the seat out of my truck to get the jack looked and played the stereo and noticed a screw in the top of the sub box not holding anything,watced the subs move and noticed they moved differently even though they werein mono.also a small dent in the amp so on from there it went. I also called clarion to complain and gave them the dealer name they say it is out of their hands may try kicker. my wife spent a chunk on me and she got #@#@%^%$#% and so did I> sorrry for the rant

 

All fixed they gave me a new amp today, no real apology still feel screwed.It is all now at least what she paid for .Thanks for the help and advice my system sounds great
