4 ohm and 2 ohm subs together?

Hey guys newbie question my wife had a system installed as a gift sounds great but i was checking out my subs and noticed one was moving more than the other looked at them more closely and noticed one was a 2 ohm and the other was 4 ohm just wondering why?

why would they use them they are in seperate boxes thin kickercvt-10
wired to one chanel on a clarion apx1800 this is not right???
