A DLS A7 is going in my car, a great little 5 channel (little being not quite accurate... 24" X 10") 4X 60 @ 4 ohms, and 1X 300 @ 4 ohms...

other 5 channel i have used the mtx one tim talked about, the kicker has was better(more power), the alpine mrvf450, the kicker had more power, ive used the old phoenix xs 6600(6 channell used as 5 cahannell) this amp is keller if you can find one. the kicker just stood out in my eyes a the best 5 channel ive ever used. i have done 3 2005 corvettes all with this amp and 2 kicker l5 8" woofers and a variety of othe componennt speakers and the amp has never failed, overheated, gone into protection or ever caused a customer a concern, so for those reasons it is the best 5 channell ive ever used, mr2nr recommended some as well that i havent used that may very well be good

Well, if price is a determining factor, put the Audison back on the shelf, it however is probably one of the smallest and well constructed of the bunch. The Crossfire is a amazing amp and the chassis is not too large as well. A true class D on the sub output section as well. It is a highly underrated amplifier. The Eclipse PA5532 is one of my favorite 5 channel amps due to it's great build, relatively small footprint and great output potential. The sub channel on all of these amps are designed to operate at a 2 ohm continous load. Eclipse has a slightly smaller 5 channel, the EA3532 that we use quite often as well, it's downfall is the sub channel is not 2 ohm mono stable and it is not a powerhouse by any means. In a open air vehicle like a Jeep, this would not be my amp of choice for the customer.

Dave and Tim have mentioned some good amps as well and combined we all have had practical experience with all of them. Do some checking around at these amps and see what the customer wants as well.
