LOL.

I guess we should all be running HX2's then.

No-one said there bad subs, just that the Kicker CVR and in theory(I have no experience) the MSX, is better. Sorry, let me refraise that....the Kicker and MTX are better in certain areas...the HX2 is a loud woofer...there's no doubt about that.....different woofers preform better in different areas....I find the CVR to be tight and controlled yet it lacks in the top end frequencies, whereas the HX2 is loud, but I find it sloppy in the lower frequencies not controlled like the CVR.

To say the HX2 is the best would be arrogant because we all know the best rockford will never outplay a Focal driver anyway

.... and just when you started to almost sound intelligent...

Most woofers are great these days... the real difference is the box. If any woofer $129 or over does not sound good... basically you have focked up on the box.

Agreed x2.

You really need to tune your box properly. I LOVE tuning boxes

Yea, proper tuning is key....you don't want to tune too high, or you'll peak at like 100Hz and have NO low end bass resulting in music that sounds like crap. Have your vehicle rta'd for it's resonant frequency and tune the box a few hz higher. Do that and most subs should sound pretty damn decent.
