well I think im goin with store A. very good install reputation as well.

my only 2 reservations are:

1./ the head unit.. i have heard rumors that with the jvc kd-ar300 you cannot pause mp3 tracks.. can anyone shed some light on this?

2./ will the alpine type-s speakers handle the power from a solid 40x2 rms amp like the alpine one im gettin with it?

 

What is your reservation on the amp? not enuff power ?

 

well store b. just offered to match the install price of store a. and i loved the sound of those dragster speakers. Install on monday [img]smile.gif[/img] woot

 

woot got my dragster speakers and concept amp / jvc mp3 unit installed. Amazing sounding speakers.. check em out if you get a chance... unreal midbass from a 5.25. They claim 30 rms but my amp is easily feedin em 40 and they are lovin it.

 

Another question...

My amp is rated 40x2 @4ohm and 56x2 @2ohm..
Right now it's running my speakers.. but If I decided to get a sub could I just use that amp bridged to power a decent 10 inch? Or would I need another amp?

 

wooo, first time reading this thread in a while. sorry to offend anyone with the FS statement, ive just heard a lot of bad things about installs there. but i guess theres maybe only like 1 bad one for every 50 good, but those are the ones people here about. ive never had anything installed by them, so i guess i shouldnt of said that...
