AB 400.1 In Flames

is there a vertical board in the center of this amp ? close to coils... between powersupply and outputs? looks like you fried the powersupply..if so look on that little vertical board if there is an IC chip with the part number ground off of it... if so there is most likely a hole burn in it... G F L fixing that

btw..did u blow a cap in there too? whats with all the shreds in there?

What is pictured are the two most affected areas. I dont know how much more I can show.

Did u look for a small circuit board near the center of the amp? It sticks out perpendicular to the main board

sell it for what you can and get a better amp.

Well they must be great if everyone I know owns at least one (thats in a box, waiting for repair)

I never had a problem with mine? You need lots of power for these amps. I have 2 freinds right now with 400.1's daily at 1 ohm no problem but with lots of power .

And Yuli whats up hater lol....

man, this would not have happened if you had just taken the necessary precautions. Fusing your big 3, all of your runs of positive, your grounds, and the RCA's is the only way to ensure that your equipment is safe at all times.
