AB 400.1 In Flames
ok, i appreciate the beef. At this point it went from rare to well done in the matter of hours. But the amp went into flames with the two runs of power and ground put in and the remote out; after about 3 minutes the thing just burst into flames. Hope this is useful information, cause i wanna see this jalat design at it's most.
the amp is toast. you guys need a new one.
if you fix this one it will probably smoke again shortly thereafter. that's just how big amps are especially after they have been gang raped by a group of spl people.

Hahahahaha. But you are taking a risk getting it repaired. Call the amp repair center in Ohio. They usually do good work. You might not have to done in time for the show but at least you know it's getting done by people who know what they are doing. Rushing local guys to get it done might result in something missed and it may result in instance smoke show again. At least with amp repair center they offer waranty. Hope this helps you out.

If someone will let me borrow an amp, then ya for sure I'd use it. But who would be willing to let me borrow a $500+ amp when I just blew one up....

Ask Don or anyone else. Unlike the other splers on this forum my was never used for daily. That's why Don was going to buy them. Trying blaming USER ERROR for those amps blowing up on you. I made you hook up each amp and it worked fine. If you wanna discuss this further either on or off the forum BRING IT!!!
