I am not an IPOD Person, I dont mind USB or CD, or both

I am looking at Apline IDA-200 as well, I am little weak on understanding the point built-in amp feature? is it better to go with the alpine as it has a more powerful amp than the pioneer

I will upgrade with sub and amp in the future as well

The actual power output from both units are most likely very close and extremely exaggerated. You should choose based on other features that best fit your needs.
