hey ya'all just was qurious as to what people charge out on a basic remote start, and whats included. here basic is $100 and includes hood pin, led, siren, shock, 1st ign, 2nd ign, {if applicable } factory disarm and rearm, starter kill, and light flash. am i getting screwed or is this normal across the country?
That sounds like a deal if you ask me. Most places do not include starter kill and light flash, they give you one or the other and very few places include a hood pin. For us it depends on the alarm being chosen, if the customer goes with brand b over brand z, then we automatically include things like hood pin and light flash to add to the basic install of doorpins, siren, starter kill, led, valet.....

Starters include hoodpin and lightflashfor $100.00, antigrind is extra.
Alarms here include lightflash only for $100.
Combos I will usually install the starter kill but only if it's prewired, and again, hood pin and lightflash is included for $150. on basic

We charge $100, that gets basic start with lights. All starters get hoodpins.
Factory alarm disarm is $30, another $30 for immobilizer bypass. I include 2nd or 3rd ignition on all starters except the entry level Nordic starts that we only charge $80 for install.
