I would tend to disagree about the switched for two reasons:

1) The deck ONLY will turn on when the key is in the ACC or ON positions

2) I have had two systems in this car previously without any issues...


I found out something that may be causing the problem...but I won't be able to post about it until tonite....But one of the subs I bought (they were used) has always made a weird noise when playing...similar to a scratching type noise maybe...I have disconnected that sub in hopes that the sub is shorting out and putting the amp into protection...

I will let you all know!

the switched he is refering to is the switched 12 for accessory it dosn't exist at the harness for this car
and he thinks that could be your problem
the switched or accessory wire must be optained somewhere other than the radio harness

Hmm...still not sure what that wire is...

Anyway, I ruled out the weird sounding sub, i re-seated the power and remote on the amp tonight, same issue...

I think my amp is bad...****ty...
