Alpine 4 channel amp shuts off during extreme cold weather
Hello,
This is my first post and would like some help with a problem that I have with my amp. I am running a 4 channel Alpine model MP450 and the amp shuts off when I start the car up when the temperature is -6 or colder. It would take about 15-20 min for it to slowly come back on. My set up would involve the one amp running one Alpine 10" sub and my front component tweeter/mid set. My rear 6 x 9 are being run from the head unit and those obviously work. I have brought my car to the installation centre and when they tried to test it it all worked. Has anyone else encountered the same problem? The amp is about a year old and should be still under warranty. Is it possible that I got a bad batch?
Any help that you may have will be appreciated.
