ok am really psst cause i have been listerning to radio for a long time and now i decided i would pop in a cd and nothing. got a error with a burnt cd and put in a original no scratches cd and it goes to the track 01-02 but a get no sound just fuzzy/scatch sound. please help. who knows a good repair shop in Toronto? i think i going to call and send it out to alpine but i think i am going to be rapped cause it out of warranty.

anyone know if this is a common problem? any fixes you could do yourself?

no, but i did remove power from it so i think it would of reset. i dont think their is a button to press to reset on mine

thanks ill have to give it a try, but i have the feeling it aint going to work. someone has told me this unit was not meant to play cd-r and if you did in 1 to 1.5 yr it burn out the magnets on the lens
