Alpine CDA-9833 or CDA-9835?

anyone have experience with these decks? im trying to decide between the two. i was playing with them in the store, and i oculd get the buttons to change colours, but not the screen, i wasnt a fan of the blue screen the 33 was showing and was wondering if that was adjustable? if not, ill probalby go for the bling graphics of the 35 and the nice black and white screen...

as an aside, i want a good clean sounding deck, im ok with going with this deck? i picked it mainly cause the buttons will change colour to match my truck and it has nice mp3 functions on it.

33 and 35 are sonically identical, you should be able to get yourself a 33 for a good deal now as its about to be discontinued, maybe around 399 or so, the 33 is a great deck, as is the 35 but for the money you cant beat the 33

yea, the local shop in town said they would sell it to me to for 399 for the 9833, and 539 for the 9835 i woudl of taken it if i could figure out if i could make the screen go to white or green instead of blue....

the displays colour can not be changed. Only the 4 main buttons (tons-o-colour choice) and the back light can be changed from amber to green.

The CDA9835 is easier to use due to the Bio-Lite display, allows personal greeting, holidays etc...

Easy to view at any angle and low glare at night.
